Sarojini Adusumilli, Ph.D.

Manager of Intellectual Property

Sarojini joined Skysong Innovations in January 2019 and serves as Manager of Intellectual Property for the Life Sciences team. Her role involves working closely with ASU faculty and staff and Skysong Innovations’ business development team with facilitating invention disclosures, evaluating technology, monitoring patent preparation and prosecution, and managing IP.

She is a registered patent agent with experience in patent preparation and prosecution. Prior to joining the Skysong Innovations team, Sarojini was a consultant for the life sciences team and a scientific writer. Her postdoctoral studies were performed at Yale University in the Department of Infectious Diseases where she studied host-pathogen-vector interaction and its influence on the outcome of Lyme disease and a senior postdoctoral associate at the Biodesign Institute’s Center for Immunotherapy, Vaccines and Virotherapy.

Sarojini has a Ph.D. in Microbiology from University of Tennessee, Knoxville and a Master of Science in Microbiology from Devi Ahilya University, Indore. She has 11 technical publications and has 20 years of research experience in the areas of immunology, microbiology and molecular biology.
